Completed in July of 2014, the greenway is now enjoyed by an increasingly enthusiastic community who walk, cycle or jog from Carlingford Marina, six and a half kilometres along the coast to Omeath.

The marina is now firmly established on the cruising routes of the Irish Sea. Dublin, Strangford Lough, Belfast, The Isle of Man and some parts of England’s West Coast are all within a day’s sail of Carlingford.
